PREFACE:
A group of young academics, professionals and development activists of Jhenidah started the expedition of Srizony Bangladesh in 1985 to promote sustainable development by creating opportunities for rural and urban development through active patiicipation of the stakeholders and beneficiaries. Over the last 22 years Srizony Bangladesh has contributed a lot in the social and human development sectors in different parts of Bangladesh. Now Srizony Bangladesh is one of the most reputed National Socio-economic Development Organization in Bangladesh. At present Srizony Bangladesh covers 32 district under its development initiatives. Its staffs are social workers that have strong educational and technological foundation, vast experience at field level, leadership drive and above all dedicated and practical grassroots level experience. Srizony Bangladesh is known and esteemed for its stand at the side of the ultra poor and disadvantaged people and sincere endeavors for health care, education, organization and livelihood security of the poor and disadvantaged groups of people.

MISSION:
GOAL:
To enhance the standard of living of the targeted poor people especially women and children.
OBJECTIVES:

To mobilize and organize the disadvantaged and extreme poor people in self-help group for the improvement of their living standard through micro finance, IGA and other livelihood supports;

To increase the literacy rate through literacy and functional education to the illiterate targeted people;

To promote planned families and reduce maternal & child mortality and morbidity as well as to change the behavior of the community people to prevent HlV/AIDS;

To assist to generate own income initiatives for sustainability of the organization;

To develop capable human assets through human rights and skill development training;

To establish human rights and good governance especially for the women survivors, children and disabled and reduce violence and discrimination;

To make safety communication and sustainable environmental sanitation, hygiene, water supply a d arsenic mitigation research in rural and urban .areas;

To provide relief and rehabilitation supports to the disaster affected people during natural calamities;,

'To encourage sustainable agriculture cultivation, aquaculture, afforestation, crops production and nursery development;

To establish an effective networks and lobbying with the like minded NGOs for promoting sustainable development for the targeted beneficiaries and stakeholders;
