Solar Energy Programme  

 

Solar Energy programme under  Institute of Fuel Research and Development  under Bangladesh Council of  Scientific & Industrial Research (BCSIR)

 

Institute of Fuel Research and Development  under Bangladesh Council of  Scientific & Industrial Research (BCSIR) engaged in conducting Research and Development in the field of  RET.  Development of  Pilot scale dissemination of improved stoves & biogas plants all over the country through ADP projects of Government of the Peoples of republic of Bangladesh. The institute  also carry out the acceptability on solar energy devices viz, solar oven, water heater etc. 

 

Solar Installation  by IFRD, BCSIR for demonstration and feasibility study :

  • Capacity Installed : 400 Wp (Each 50Wp)

  • Beneficiary : 100

  • Project Name : Solar Home Lighting System

  • Installation Year : 1999

  • Location : Vill. Panch Pukuria, (Uttar Paharpur), Upazila : Morad Nagar,  Dist. Comilla

  • Capacity Installed : 50 Wp

  • Beneficiary : 10

  • Project Name : Solar Home Lighting System

  • Installation Year : 1999

  • Location : Vill. Sailopropat, Upazila : Bandarban Sadar, Dist. Banderban

  • Capacity Installed : 100 Wp (Each 50 Wp)

  • Beneficiary : 20
