Salient Features :

Optimum drying capacity: 50 kg of paddy per batch .

Drying time: 4-8 hours depending on initial moisture.

Drying rate: About 1.6% per hour .

Seed viability: About 90 percent .

Run by bicycle without electricity

Heat source: Rice husk

Manufactured with local materials .

Also suitable for women .Dissembled, fold and stored in small space

Optimum drying capacity: 15 kg of vegetables (Cabbage) per batch

Vegetables drying needs about 3 days

Drying rate: About 2-3% per hour

Energy source: Only solar energy

Also suitable for women

Dissembled, fold and stored in small space



IRRI-BRRI Dryer :



Salient Features

Optimum drying capacity: About 200 kg paddy per batch .Drying time: 8-10 hours depending on initial moisture .Drying rate: About 1.0% per hour

Energy source: Rice husk and electricity .Seed viability: More than 80 percent .Also suitable for women

Dissembled, fold and stored in small space
