Source of Financing is often one of the major barriers before implementing environmentally benign Renewable Energy Technologies (RETs) in Bangladesh. Currently, there are some funds. e.g. World Bank, kfW, GTZ, Clean Development Mechanism (CDM),  Global Environment Facility (GEF)  which can be accessed for financing such projects in Bangladesh ad which can be utilized for overall development of society, environment and economy.
